The Girl’s father took this photo as she went back to rescue Little Turtle from his exile on the rock at the edge of the waterfall. See, she saved him! It’s okay.

Well, it’s official. The Girl has abandoned Little Turtle. He thought he could trust her. Clearly, he was wrong. Goodbye, cruel, betraying world.
Oookayyyy this is why The Girl said not to look right. This is what’s to the right. Okay. Deep breaths. It’s fine.
Phew, The Girl didn’t fall through the pile of rusty metal and rotting wood! Apparently she decided to tempt fate by clambering out to the edge of another waterfall. And what’s more, she brought Little Turtle out there with her! Great. Just great. But why is she telling him not to look right?
Little Turtle thinks The Girl’s weird habit is very disconcerting. If you’ve never been out taking photos with her near a body of water, you have not yet experienced her propensity for jumping, balancing, scrambling, and otherwise making her way across water to take improbable photos. She seems to think she is a goat. This photo from the north fork of the Santiam River in Oregon may look like it was taken from the bank. It was not. Tune in tomorrow for more context!
Time for Little Turtle’s favorite game – Spot the Turtle! Can you see him? The Girl had to have LT’s hiking buddy point him out. Hint: he’s not in Starvation Creek, thank goodness.
Ooh, it’s quite cool and comfortable behind this waterfall. This is possibly even a better place to rest than the last one! Little Turtle could spend all day here.
What a lovely waterfall! Surely this is Starvation Creek.
Little Turtle still thinks it’s a bad idea to go through an artificial tunnel blasted through the cliff face so people could walk behind Tunnel Falls. What if the cliff is angry and decides to close the tunnel? They could be trapped!
Little Turtle jumps into the frame to make sure his friend knows what a bad idea this tunnel is. Just because Tunnel Falls is gorgeous does not make this tunnel safe. It seriously is a bad idea.
